Climate Compass Advisors Limited for the Federation of Canadian Municipalities
This study explores and evaluates inclusive climate adaptation approaches within the Canadian context to support the Inclusive Climate Adaptation for Tunisian Municipalities (ICATM) project, providing best practices, lessons learned and ultimately recommendations for Tunisian communities to increase their resilience. It emphasizes inclusive climate adaptation and resilience in diverse communities.

WE OUTSIDE
The Womxn of Colour Durham Collective (WOCDC)
Secured $50K+ to design, facilitate and execute a recreational exploratory pilot program geared towards racialized women, femmes and non-binary people to provide safer spaces to talk about mental health and wellbeing, explore sports and recreation, and build peer-to-peer relationships to create a strong sense of community.

CLIMATE ACTION PLANS
Sustainability Solutions Group (SSG)
Developed and implemented engagement strategies to enhance community participation in Canadian and US municipal climate and sustainability projects, including emissions reduction and adaptation strategies. Used climate modelling and data analysis, to provide targeted recommendations for managing climate risks and encouraging organizational behaviour change to assist senior leadership in decision-making. -

This project aims to challenge the narratives and barriers that BIPOC face in outdoor spaces and address environmental inequity by empowering BIPOC through building community, reducing ‘eco-anxiety’, and dissecting our relationships with land.
